Art Deco from Theodore Alexander

1925-1945 France, America

Art Deco flourished internationally between 1925 and the 1940’s. As a revolt against the sinuous forms of Art Nouveau, the style drew on concepts of speed and angular aesthetics of post-war industrial progress. It also adopted modern materials such as stainless steel in combination with luxurious materials.
