Our contemporary furniture at Place Direct comes from Theodore Alexander and Caracole. This includes 20th Century European, Art Deco and Mid Century Modern and furniture.

Our contemporary section also includes furniture in the Caracole Classic Collection, La Moda Collection, Adela Collection, Avondale Collection, Modern Edge Collection, Modern Streamline Collection, Modern Expressions Collection, and Signature Collection from Caracole and also the Anthony Cox Collection, Avenue Montaigne Collection, Echoes Collection, Jamie Drake Collection, Keno Collection, Michael Berman Collection, Steve Leung Collection, and Vanucci Eclectics Collection from Theodore Alexander.

If the item is not in stock in our showroom we can import it for you.

The delivery period for most of the furniture from Caracole is between 8 to 12 weeks. The delivery period from Theodore Alexander is around 8 weeks if they have the item in stock or between 16 to 20 weeks if it needs to be manufactured.

If you wish us to import any of the pieces below we will request a 50% deposit to initiate the order with the balance payable upon arrival in South Africa.
