Fontainebleau Collection
Fontainebleau Collection from Caracole
Extraordinary in every way, this luxe collection offers an original interpretation inspired by the storied design movements of the Rococo and Baroque periods. It combines classical elements – such as acanthus leaves, scrolls and intricate floral inlays – with modern lines to create sophisticated designs rich with historical character. Reflecting the best of French- and Italian inspired ornamentation, these spectacular furnishings pay homage to exquisite French blue silks, gold leafing and the grand opulence of European palaces. With a hint of minimalism, these heritage influences have been reimagined for today’s lifestyles in an aesthetic destined to define a new genre of tradition.
Compositions Fontainebleau is a whole home collection with strong Rococo and Baroque influences. Acanthus and laurel leaf carvings and castings are inspired by these periods, while serpentine shapes, églomisé glass, rich silver and gold leaf finishes, metallic paints, glass, and marble all surround the grey bleached walnut core finish. Aluminium castings allow for thin structural elements featuring designs influenced by this period. Carefully detailed hardware castings along with tassels and cameo button inspired accents dress up these dramatic shapes and materials throughout the collection.
